Alaska Airlines has named Charu Jain vice president and chief information officer of Alaska Airlines and Chris Berry vice president of finance and controller of Alaska Airlines and Alaska Air Group.

Jain comes to the airline from IBM Global Business Services. Previously she spent 20 years at United Airlines culminating in leadership roles in airline operations technology and technology integration. Berry joined Alaska Airlines in 2005 as director of financial reporting and has most recently served as managing director of accounting and Alaska Air Group controller. Before joining Alaska, Berry worked for Arthur Andersen and KPMG.

In addition, the company promoted two employees to managing director at Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air. Jennifer Thompson was named managing director commercial law, associate general counsel and assistant corporate secretary at Alaska Airlines. Sana Gebarin was named managing director of strategy and project management at Horizon Air.

G6 Hospitality
has appointed Rob Palleschi to the newly created position of chief development officer. Palleschi will focus on strategic growth of the company's international development.

Palleschi has more than 30 years of hospitality and business experience, most recently having served as the CEO of TGI Fridays. Previously he spent 12 years at Hilton Worldwide and served as Global Head of Full Service Brands.

SkyWest Airlines, a subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc., has named Bradley W. Blake vice president, Operations Control Center. Blake's current role as managing director of the OCC is being elevated to VP.

Blake has nearly 20 years of experience at SkyWest. Previously he served as senior director, OCC at Spirit Airlines and has held numerous positions at SkyWest, including lead operations supervisor and manager OCC/System Control.
