Accor is now in the process of reorganizing its operational structure into two divisions. The changes had been announced last summer.

Under the new structure, Jean-Jacques Morin, deputy group CEO, will serve as CEO of the Premium, Midscale and Economy division. That includes brands like Ibis, Novotel, Mercure, Swissôtel, Mövenpick and Pullman.

Sébastien Bazin, CEO, will lead the Luxury and Lifestyle division, serving as that division’s CEO. That group includes Raffles & Orient Express, Fairmont, Sofitel and Ennismore.

In a statement, the company said the new organization is being implemented throughout the first quarter of the year, depending on local regulations. According to the statement, the new structure will allow the company to accelerate growth and better address market development; deliver the highest possible levels of service for all its stakeholders; facilitate accurate and effective fulfilment of guest needs and expectations; and provide clarity and performance to its partners.
