TPConnects Technologies Completes Implementation of NDC Content for Hawaiian Airlines

TPConnects Technologies, a global travel aggregator and distribution technology company, announced the successful implementation of New Distribution Capability (NDC) content and servicing capabilities for Hawaiian Airlines on its Iris platform. TPConnects Technologies is certified by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

Travel agencies using Iris can access NDC content alongside traditional EDIFACT, LCC (low-cost carrier) and aggregator content, providing a single interface for all airline bookings. Iris, according to the announcement, enables seamless shopping and servicing of air content and ensures that travel sellers can offer the best available fares and products to their clients.

Key features of the integration include:

  1. Access to Hawaiian’s full range of fare products and services, including chargeable and premium seats which are customized based on the traveler’s HawaiianMiles status.
  2. Real-time pricing and availability.
  3. Seamless booking and servicing capabilities.

Paul Ryumugabe, vice president, product (travel seller solutions) for TPConnects Technologies, said the launch “marks a significant milestone in our commitment to driving innovation and efficiency in the travel industry.” By integrating NDC content from Hawaiian Airlines, he said, “we’re empowering travel sellers to expand their footprint and provide comprehensive experiences to their customers.”

George Bryan, senior director of distribution for Hawaiian, said the integration “allows us to showcase our full range of products tailored to the Hawaii traveler with a wider audience of sellers, ultimately benefiting the end consumer with more choice and a seamless booking and servicing experience.”

Iris, according to TKConnects Technologies, includes NDC content from prominent carriers worldwide and enables it to address travel sellers’ needs in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Travel sellers, according to the company, can benefit from enhanced retailing capabilities, access to rich content and end-to-end servicing options directly through Iris.
