Spotnana Launches Spotnana Events, a Solution for Managing Travel to Group Gatherings

Company says tool will ‘revolutionize travel management for in-person gatherings.

Spotnana, the travel management platform, announced the launch of Spotnana Events, which, according to a blog post by CEO Sarosh Waghmar, “revolutionizes travel management for in-person gatherings” and “empowers employees and guests to book and manage their travel for meetings and events of any size.”

Spotnana Events is available to corporations as an add-on and a standalone product that can be purchased via Spotnana or channel partners. In addition, Spotnana’s API-first architecture, said the announcement, enables channel partners to white-label, embed and integrate event booking into their offerings.

Spotnana Events greatly simplifies travel management for groups of any size traveling to the same destination —whether it’s a small gathering or a large-scale event, according to the announcement. There is no limit on the number of attendees.

With Spotnana Events, according to the announcement, planners benefit from:

Simple event creation — create new events in minutes by defining the event name, dates, location and description. Then, add branding by uploading preferred imagery or choosing from a selection of AI-generated event images.

Advanced travel controls — apply travel policies and specify event travel windows, types of allowed bookings (air, hotel, car and rail), designated airports and/or hotels, and payment methods.

Employee and guest travel — easily add employees and unprofiled guest travelers to an invite list through human resources integrations, list uploads or manual entry, send a customized email prompting invitees to book their own travel and follow up with automated reminders.

Self-service bookings, exchanges and cancellations — enable employees and guest travelers to book their own travel, manage exchanges and cancel trips without agent assistance.

Real-time event insights — access real-time data to monitor booking status for invitees and travel spend.
Spotnana Events, according to Waghmar, is built on top of Spotnana’s travel-as-a-service platform and harnesses all of Spotnana’s core capabilities. When booking, for example, travelers gain access to all of Spotnana’s self-service tools, advanced policy management and comprehensive global content, including deep direct NDC integrations with major airlines.

Travelers can also request support at any point in their booking process. Spotnana customer experience agents are available 24/7 and can be reached via live chat, email or phone. And since Spotnana provides a single unified platform for travelers and agents, all servicing is provided by agents who have full visibility into event details, policies, negotiated rates, payment methods and more, enabling rapid issue resolution.
