The Young and the Rest of Us

A rising generation is bringing with them a better business travel experience for everyone

According to an analysis by Boston Consulting Group, members of the Millennial Generation (those born between roughly the early 1980s and 2000) are likely to make up half of the business travel population in the next few years. As a consequence, much of the conversation in the travel industry today is focused on these younger travelers. However many corporate travel managers will argue that the developments in the industry are less about what one generation demands and more about the experiences all travelers value.

BTE Think Tank members Rosemary E Maloney, Senior Manager, Global Travel at Coach and Jennifer Steinke, Manager of Corporate Travel for Dycom Industries, Inc., take a refreshing look at the changes in business travel from both sides of the generational divide.
