Solutions Travel, a US-based TMC, announced a partnership with Latin America-based Consolid Global Travel Solutions, which also invested in the US company to help propel its growth.

The utility of the Spotnana platform, said the announcement, has allowed Solutions Travel to grow quickly, in part because of an average 93% online booking tool adoption rate and a platform that offers a single global instance for each client. Solutions Travel’s customers, according to the announcement, receive immediate benefits through access to comprehensive NDC offerings as well as integrations to expense, duty of care and sustainability suppliers made possible through Spotnana’s APIs and open platform.

Mark Walton, CEO of Solutions Travel, said he has known Joaquin Navasal, the CEO of Consolid Global Travel Solutions, for nearly five years, and they have worked together on other strategic partnerships. Navasal, he said, “has built one of the largest multifaceted travel companies covering all points of sale in Latin America.”

Navasal said the agreement “will allow us to incorporate advanced technological tools that will optimize the customer experience, ensuring savings and efficient global management. “

Consolid Global Travel Solutions, part of Volans Group, is a travel and tourism company specializing in corporate travel, events and global consolidation in 15 countries in Latin America and the US.
