WOW, the discount carrier, will begin nonstop service from Dallas Fort Worth International Airport to Reykjavik, Iceland in May 2018. WOW air will serve the route three times weekly in each direction on a seasonal basis, using Airbus A330 aircraft. There will be fights from Iceland Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays; and flights from DFW Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. "We're pleased to welcome WOW air to Dallas Fort Worth and look forward to providing our customers with another nonstop transatlantic destination," said Sean Donohue, CEO for DFW Airport. "Reykjavik is a popular tourist destination, a growing market for international business and a convenient connecting point to continental Europe.” WOW’s hub in Reykjavik serves 22 destinations in Europe and the Middle East.
