Swiss, Switzerland’s national airline, opened a new first-class lounge at Zurich Airport. The 7,000-square-foot facility features its own check-in, a security checkpoint, a restaurant and a barista bar. First-class passengers and members of Lufthansa Group HON Circle can use the new lounge. It offers lounge suites, a lounge club with leather sofas, a business zone and a meeting room. The barista bar offers specialty coffees and over 100 Swiss grappas and fruit brandies. Travelers to long-haul destinations will be taken directly by limousine from the lounge to the Swiss First Lounge in Terminal E, the departure point for those flights. Swiss will also be introducing a new chauffeur service this summer in Zurich for inbound first-class guests. Travelers arriving in Terminal E, Terminal B or at a remote aircraft stand will be taken by chauffeur service to the appropriate passport or security control in Terminal A or B.
