Kempinski Hotels has promoted Amanda Elder to the position of chief commercial officer. She joined the company in 2014 and most recently served as senior vice president of business development, where she led the teams responsible for sales, marketing, distribution, revenue management and public relations. Elder has more than 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality on a number of continents.


Nina & Pinta, a consultancy, has named Tom Stone, a veteran travel industry executive, as a partner. He has specialized in corporate travel for over 30 years and is the founder of Sirius Travel Sourcing. He has worked in travel management for Sony Music Entertainment, SmithKline Beecham, Seagram and Universal Music Group.



International Airlines Group has appointed Vincent Hodder as CEO of Level, its low-cost airline brand. He has over 25 years of experience working with airlines, including low-cost carriers such as Jetstar in Australia and Asia, and VivaAerobus in México. Most recently, he worked as chief strategy officer at Flybe, a UK regional airline. Level was launched in June 2017 and operates from Barcelona to Boston, Buenos Aires, Los Angeles and San Francisco; and from Paris Orly to Montreal and Guadeloupe.
