La Compagnie, the exclusively business-class airline offering service between New York and Paris, will move its operation to Paris Orly Airport. Starting April 22, the carrier will operate from Newark International Airport to Paris Orly. La Compagnie, which currently flies to and from Paris Charles de Gaulle, has been operating between New York and Paris since 2014. The announcement comes as the airline announced the acquisition of two new Airbus A321neo aircraft due for delivery in 2019. Jean Charles Perino, executive vice president of sales and marketing, said that Orly provides an opportunity to quickly connect customers to the city center. He added that customers will “enjoy the benefits of the human-sized airport” from arrival to departure. Orly is eight miles south of Paris city center. To inaugurate the service, La Compagnie is offering a $1,400 roundtrip fare through March 23.
