The Delta Air Lines - Korean Air joint venture will begin offering five flights per week between Seoul and Boston on April 12, 2019. Tickets will be on sale later this summer. The carriers also announced a launch date of April 1, 2019 for a daily Minneapolis-Seoul route; bookings for that flight are now open. The partnership will deploy Korean Air Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft for the Seoul-Boston route. The aircraft will be configured with six first-class suites, 18 business-class suites and 245 economy seats. The Minneapolis-Seoul flights will use three-class Boeing 777-200ER aircraft, featuring 28 business-class suites, 48 premium economy seats and 220 economy seats. The routes will be the first introduced by the airlines since they won approval to upgrade their joint venture last spring.
