British Airways has gone live with its integration of ba.com with SAP Concur TripLink, an arrangement designed to help travel managers capture and manage bookings that occur directly on the airline’s website. British Airways is the second carrier to complete this integration; United Airlines did so last year. Customers of SAP Concur and the airline will be able to capture business travel bookings that are made directly on the carrier’s website so they can be managed along with other corporate travel arrangements. Any bookings made on ba.com by people who have chosen to link their BA Executive Club and SAP Concur accounts will now be captured automatically by SAP Concur. If the company has negotiated discounts with British Airways and has requested access to these on ba.com, the website will authenticate connected travelers and apply negotiated rates automatically.
