Technology company will provide collaboration products for webinars and other communication
by: BTE
Cisco, the technology company, has become a President’s Circle Sponsor of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE), which will, according to ACTE, allow the organization to transform how it operates, trains and runs events. Cisco collaboration technologies such as WebEx Event Center will now play a “more strategic” role in ACTE’s virtual events to provide members and non-members the tools and capabilities “to enhance their education, free from constraints of physical location, time zone and traditional organizational boundaries.” ACTE will use Cisco’s collaboration products to power upcoming webinars, which will be presented using WebEx Event Center. This will allow ACTE to educate members on upcoming trends changing the industry and “provide attendees with the opportunity to think differently and create new strategies,” according to ACTE. In addition, ACTE will use Cisco technologies such as Cisco Spark internally to streamline its communication process in-house to lessen the number of emails sent daily.
