Appointments, retirements and promotions at BCD Meetings & Events, Omni Hotels & Resorts and AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences.

BCD Meetings & Events
 announced that Scott Graf, global president, will retire after 26 years with the organization. Bruce Morgan, COO, has been named to replace him. Graf joined McCord Corporate Travel in Chicago in 1997 to launch its meetings and events division. After several acquisitions, BCD M&E was formed in 2006. The company is now active in more than 60 countries with nearly 2,000 employees operating more than 60,000 events annually. In April 2024, Graf will move into a new partnership with BCD founder John Fentener van Vlissingen. The new venture will sit within Boron, the Van Vlissingen family’s private investment company. Morgan has more than 30 years of industry experience across various functions and global regions, with nearly 20 of those years within BCD M&E. The company’s COO since 2019, Morgan has also held roles within sales and marketing management, global event management, sports marketing, performance improvement and regional leadership.

Omni Hotels & Resorts has named Vince Parrotta as COO, a new role for the company. He brings over 40 years of operations experience, including most recently as president, hotel operations-Americas at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. He was with Four Seasons for 24 years.

AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences has named Scott Walsh executive vice president of asset, design and development. He has more than two decades of experience as a real estate and development executive, mostly recently as project director at Lendlease, an international construction and real estate company, where he spent the last seven years overseeing a $1.8 billion portfolio of New York-based residential development projects.
