HRS, the corporate lodging and payment technology platform, has named Will Pinnell as senior vice president for the Americas; and Pauline Robin as vice president, procurement consulting and supplier relations for the Americas. Pinnell has worked in leadership roles over the past decade with BCD Travel, including as vice president of digital and global strategy. He also worked for Sabre for almost five years. Robin has spent the last six years overseeing global supplier management and procurement teams for CWT’s RoomIt consulting unit. Prior to that, she worked at PWC, focusing on global management consulting.
RateGain, an India-based hospitality industry technology company, has named Peter Strebel as president for the Americas region. He has previously served as president of both Wyndham Hotels & Resorts and Omni Hotels & Resorts.
Sonesta recently appointed Michelle Steffens as vice president of operations and Jim Mooney as vice president of sales. Steffens has more than 17 years of hospitality industry experience, most recently as senior vice president of operations at Aimbridge Hospitality. She has also had roles at Interstate, Island Hospitality and White Lodging. Mooney has more than 25 years of industry experience, most recently as general manager of the Sheraton Times Square Hotel in New York. Previously, he was vice president of sales with Interstate Hotels, directing the Marriott Residence Inn and Courtyard brands and leading a portfolio of hotels in greater New York. He also served as director of sales and marketing for Starwood Hotels and Resorts, working at the Westin New York Times Square and the Sheraton Times Square Hotel.
Synergy, a serviced accommodation provider, has promoted Claire Barrie to executive vice president, global sales and marketing. She has over 20 years of experience in the sector and joined Synergy four years ago as vice president-sales, Europe/Middle East/Africa. She previously served as vice president of sales at BridgeStreet and was also at Oakwood Worldwide for more than 14 years.
