Appointments and promotions at JetBlue Airways and TAMS.

JetBlue Airways 
announced that Marty St. George, the carrier’s former chief commercial officer, will return on Feb. 26 to assume the role of president. He will succeed and report to Joanna Geraghty, who takes over as CEO on Feb. 12. St. George most recently was chief commercial officer at Chilean carrier Latam. Prior to joining Latam in 2020, he operated an airline strategy consulting practice, where one of his roles was as interim chief commercial officer at Norwegian Air Shuttle. He was at JetBlue from 2006 to 2019 in various senior roles, including leading the carrier’s entry into airline partnerships and product strategy. Prior to JetBlue, St. George held marketing and network leadership roles over nearly two decades at United Airlines and US Airways.

TAMS, the association for business travel professionals, announced the results of its 2024 board of directors election, when nine members were elected to serve on the board. They are:

  • Mark Ziegler, board member, senior travel manager, NetApp

Grant said each of the new board members “brings a unique set of skills, experiences and perspectives that will contribute to the continued success and growth of TAMS.”
