Appointments and promotions at Sabre Corporation, Horizon Air, Avis Budget Group and Coupa.

Sabre Corporation
 has named Chinmai Sharma as global head – lodging, ground and sea for Sabre Travel Solutions. He will lead the lodging, ground and sea segment within Sabre’s global distribution business, a significant focus and expected growth area for the company, according to the announcement.. Sharma has more than 20 years of global travel and hospitality experience, most recently as president-Americas for RateGain, a provider of SaaS (software as a service) solutions for travel and hospitality. He has also worked for Expedia, Wyndham Hotel Group, Starwood Capital Group and Taj Group of Hotels.

Horizon Air, Alaska Airlines’ regional airline, has named Jason Berry as president. A 28-year industry veteran, he joined the carrier earlier this year as senior vice president, operations. Berry previously spent two years as vice president of cargo at Air Canada and has also led Alaska Air Cargo and McGee Air Services.

Avis Budget Group has named Izzy Martins as CFO, succeeding Brian Choi, who will move on to the newly created position of chief transformation officer. Martins has been with the company for nearly 20 years in various senior roles, including CFO of the Americas and chief accounting officer. Choi has been CFO since August 2020. He previously worked at SRS Investment Management, Metalmark Capital and Lehman Brothers.

Coupa, a spend management provider, has named Leagh Turner as CEO, effective Nov. 13. She brings more than 20 years of experience in technology. Turner most recently served as co-CEO at Ceridian, a human capital management technology provider; and has held senior leadership roles at SAP and Oracle.
