Amenities include a restaurant, extensive meeting space including six function rooms for up to 120 people, a spa and an outdoor pool. Also opened recently is the nearby 254-room Caption by Hyatt Zhongshan Park Shanghai, the first for the lifestyle brand in the Asia-Pacific region. Rooms feature personalized lighting systems, Bluetooth media hubs and HDTVs with streaming capabilities. Amenities include a restaurant, mobile food ordering services, self-service coffee/tea and 24-hour grab-and-go options. Taole Central on the second floor is an all-day venue for working, a drink or a grab-and-go market with 24-hour accessibility.
Chengdu, China — Fairfield by Marriott Chengdu High-Tech Zone has opened, the brand’s 50th location in Greater China. The 145-room property is about eight miles from a rail station and 15 miles from the airport. Rooms feature 55-inch LED TVs, walk-in showers and free WiFi. There is a restaurant, a fitness center and a 24/7 Market in the lobby for self-service snacks and beverage.
Washington DC — Hotel AKA Washington Circle has opened with 151 rooms in the Foggy
Bottom/West End neighborhood; it is the third for the brand in the capital area. Each room has a pantry, kitchenette or full kitchen. Amenities include a lobby lounge for work or relaxation, a fitness center, a conference room, a screening room and – coming this spring – a restaurant.
Las Vegas — Ariva Serviced Residences has opened just minutes from the Strip with a variety of unit sizes and configurations available for stays from 31 days or more. Residences range in size from one, two and three-bedroom serviced apartments to luxurious, multi-bedroom penthouses.
