Honolulu — The 462-room Ka La’i Waikiki Beach, LXR Hotels & Resorts has opened in the center of Waikiki. The 38-story building features a 24-hour fitness center, an infinity pool, five indoor and outdoor event spaces, two restaurants and a 24-hour business center and library.
Halifax, Nova Scotia — The 160-room Moxy Halifax Downtown has opened. Rooms feature motion-activated LED lights and 55-inch flat-screen TVs. Amenities include a full-circuit gym, a bar, a Moxy Pick-Ups 24/7 grab-and-go market and 1,520 square feet of meeting space.
Mexico City — The 48-room Kimpton Virgilio has opened, the first for the brand in the city. It features a restaurant, fitness center, rooftop pool, evening socials and free WiFi for loyalty program members.
