Dubai — Holiday Inn Dubai Business Bay has opened a 15-minute drive from Dubai International Airport. The 275 rooms feature 55-inch flat screen TVs. Amenities include meeting space for up to 120; and the brand standard Open Lobby, a multifunctional hub where guests can work, eat or socialize. The property features a 24-hour gym, an outdoor pool, a spa, a restaurant and a bar.

Tokyo —  The Tokyo Edition Ginza has opened with 86 rooms in a 14-story building. It features several restaurants and bars and a gym. There are 10 large suites with separate living areas, while standard rooms are a minimum of 440 square feet, the largest standard rooms in the district, according to the hotel.
