Miami, Fla. — The 120-room Moxy Miami Wynwood has opened in the Wynwood Arts District. The hotel features a 24/7 fitness center and a second-floor lobby with a full-service bar that also serves as the hotel’s check-in area. The property also offers a 3,000-square-foot outdoor space for meetings, a smaller meeting room and bike rentals.
Cairo — The Hyatt Centric Cairo West has opened with 301 rooms and suites. It has a large pool, an aqua gym, and design and décor created by 11 local artists. There are multiple dining options, including a Grab and Go Market. The hotel is the second Hyatt branded hotel in Cairo (there is also a Hyatt Regency Cairo West) and marks the entry of the Hyatt Centric brand into Africa.
Tianjin, China — The Perennial Tianjin Hotel has opened as part of the JdV by Hyatt portfolio; the property is located in the Tianjin South Railway Station Business District, near high-speed rail and subway stations. Each of the 178 rooms has a mini-fridge, a large bathroom and a dedicated workspace. Amenities include a fitness center, a large indoor heated pool, two fine-dining restaurants, a lobby lounge and multiple meeting rooms.
