Atlanta — The 976-room Signia by Hilton Atlanta has opened, marking the first new build for the brand and the city’s largest ground-up hotel development project in 40 years. The property is part of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority’s championship campus — a combined convention, sports and entertainment destination. The hotel features eight food and beverage experiences, a spa, rooftop pool, fitness center and 100,000 square feet of meeting space. There are 80 Club Signia rooms with access to the Club Lounge, and 70 suites. Each room has floor-to-ceiling windows, Nespresso machines and walk-in rain showers.
Honolulu — The 112-room AC Hotel by Marriott Honolulu has opened in the heart of downtown. Amenities include a fitness center, over 2,500 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, a breakfast room, a lounge and a coffee shop.
Nanjing, China — Hilton Nanjing Niushoushan has opened 20 minutes from the airport; it is the hotel company’s 600th property in the greater China region. The property has multiple dining options, a fitness center and 26,673 square feet of meeting space.
Singapore — The Conrad Singapore Orchard has opened, the second for the brand in the country. The hotel is located in what was the Regent Singapore Hotel and has undergone extensive “reinvention” and refurbishment. The 445-room property features 10 restaurants and bars, an outdoor pool, a fitness center and 14 event venues.
Frankfurt — The 256-room Avani Frankfurt City Hotel has opened, marking the brand’s debut in Germany. Located in Frankfurt’s central business district, the hotel offers five meeting rooms for up to 140 people. Rooms feature coffee machines, garment steamers and Chromecast TV with streaming capability. There are several dining outlets and a gym.
