Kyte, a technology company specializing in providing access to low-cost inventory via a modern and standardized API, announced a new commercial partnership with Spotnana, the travel management platform. The partnership, according to the announcement, will enable Spotnana to access affordable airline content from low-cost carriers such as easyJet and Ryanair, through Kyte’s advanced API.

At the same time, Spotnana CEO Sarosh Waghmar announced on LinkedIn that he would transition to the role of co-chairman and chief product officer, making way for Concur co-founder and travel technology investor Steve Singh to step into the leadership position. Singh currently serves as executive chairman of Direct Travel, which was acquired in April by his investment firm Madrona Ventures.

Kyte’s platform is designed to standardize access to diverse airline inventories, ensuring that travel management companies and other travel sellers can seamlessly integrate and offer a comprehensive range of airline options. This partnership, said the announcement, allows Spotnana to offer a wider range of low-cost flight options and to include ancillaries and bundles, thereby providing more travel inventory to corporate customers.

Alice Ferrari, CEO of Kyte, said the company’s API will provide Spotnana with access to a variety of low-cost airlines, offering greater choice and value to their customers. This partnership, she said, “highlights our commitment to making low-cost airline content easily accessible to corporate travel sellers.”

Bill Brindle, vice president of commercials and content at Spotnana, said integrating Kyte’s API “aligns with the company’s goal of providing customers with the most comprehensive travel options at the most competitive prices.”
