Hickory Global Partners, a global corporate travel alliance, has launched a commissionable referral program alongside MGME, a full-service meetings and events provider. The program, according to an announcement, will allow Hickory members to have their clients partner with MGME for corporate events but also pair travel and event sales to boost both businesses while earning additional commissionable income of at least 4%, offering significant potential for increased revenue.
Both Hickory and MGME are under the umbrella of host travel agency InteleTravel, which acquired Hickory last year and MGME early this year.
Chris Dane, president of Hickory, said the ability to fully partner with MGME through commissionable referrals “is further helping us gain a complete product offering for our members and prospective members.”
Carvie Gillikin, CEO of MGME, said the ability to offer partners both full-fledged event planning, as well as travel accommodations to and from these events through Hickory, “has made both parties more well-rounded and knowledgeable about what our clients need.”
MGME organizes various corporate events, including incentives, conferences and conventions, trade shows, exhibitions, product launches, virtual events and conferences, symposiums and more. It hosts over 500 events per year with experience in over 70 countries. Some clients include IATA, Anheuser-Busch, CVS-Aetna, GlaxoSmithKline, HBO, and Novartis. With Hickory members now able to offer event services through MGME, Hickory clients and partners will have access to in-house creative services, management and logistical support, event production, analytics and reporting contracting and vendor and budget management.
