GlobalStar Travel Management has expanded its network into Italy, with TravelDesk Business Travel Management joining as a new partner.
James Stevenson, CEO at GlobalStar, said Italy is the world’s eighth largest economy and presents a strategically important and valuable market for the network’s business. In welcoming TravelDesk to the GlobalStar network, he said, “we add not only another like-minded and ambitious travel business but also critical Italian expertise in corporate travel, meetings and events and marine and offshore travel, a sector that requires expertise, significant manpower and a wealth of experience.”
Mirella Bruschi, founder and CEO at TravelDesk, said joining the network “adds both strength and depth to our existing business and will help us to continue to grow TravelDesk,” adding that the company is “looking forward to seeing our clients benefit from greater supplier deals, technology and the knowledge that exists in the GlobalStar network.”
GlobalStar operates in more than 2,500 locations in over 55 countries with a turnover in excess of $12 billion.
