GlobalStar, the international network of travel management companies, announced that Profitravel in Poland has become an affiliate.

James Stevenson, CEO at GlobalStar Travel Management, said that, like every GlobalStar partner, Profitravel “brings intimate knowledge of its local market, a reputation for meticulous service, professionalism, agility and flexibility.”

Extending the network’s footprint into Poland, he said, “is strategically important.” He added, “Together we can now guarantee our clients that same degree of consistency and support for all their Polish travel needs.”

Piotr Szczesniak, managing director, Profitravel, said the company “is very pleased to be joining the GlobalStar Travel Management network and proud of our status as GlobalStar’s newest partner.” Together, he said, “we will be able to drive new business, deploy new technology, improve supplier deals and really benefit from, and contribute to, the breadth and knowledge that exists in the GlobalStar network.”

GlobalStar operates in more than 2,500 locations in over 55 countries. The network’s combined annual turnover — in excess of $12 billion, according to the company — allows it to drive significant buying power, adding value to corporate travel programs.
