Expensify, an app for expenses and corporate cards, announced unlimited virtual cards with the Expensify Visa Commercial Card. With this addition to the platform, according to the announcement, Expensify “empowers businesses to take control of their spending with unparalleled flexibility and precision.”

The new feature, according to the announcement, offers even tighter controls, allowing customers to set fixed or monthly spend limits for each card. Fixed-spend cards are ideal for one-time expenses, providing employees access to a card for a designated purchase. Monthly spend cards, on the other hand, are perfect for managing recurring expenses such as subscriptions and memberships.

Customers can also name their virtual cards, making it easy to categorize and assign them to specific accounts upon creation. This customization ensures a clear and organized overview of expenses within the Expensify platform.

David Barrett, CEO of Expensify, said managing costs is front and center for every business right now, so being able to manage both one-time and ongoing expenses such as subscriptions and memberships is crucial. He said the new unlimited virtual cards “are a game-changer, offering our members unprecedented control and flexibility.”
All Expensify customers can start using unlimited virtual cards immediately. Administrators can initiate the process by opening Expensify, navigating to the home page and locating the new task to issue virtual cards.
