Delta Air Lines will begin service between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Copenhagen in May 2025, operating three times weekly. With the addition of the new route, Delta will provide customers traveling from Minneapolis nonstop access to seven European destinations.
Joe Esposito, Delta’s senior vice president – network planning, said the route “creates an invaluable connection between two major SkyTeam partner hubs, providing unrivaled connectivity and travel options for customers traveling between Scandinavia and North America.”
Brian Ryks, CEO and executive director of the Metropolitan Airports Commission, which owns and operates Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport, said the new route “offers great access to support deeper cultural ties and the continuation of cross-Atlantic business connections between our regions.”
Delta recently announced a partnership with SAS. Under this new codeshare agreement, Delta and SAS customers traveling to Copenhagen from Minneapolis-St. Paul will gain access to more than 80 additional destinations beyond the Danish capital. Meanwhile, as the largest carrier in Minneapolis, Delta will provide customers traveling from Copenhagen to Minneapolis connections to more than 110 cities across the US and Canada.
