Brightline, the rail system that connects central and south Florida, is partnering with AccesRail to make train tickets available in major GDS. Using booking code 9B, travel sellers from around the world can now book rail segments between south Florida and Orlando in a similar fashion to flights on all GDS systems including Amadeus, Sabre and Travelport.
The Brightline Orlando Station is located directly within Orlando International Airport and shuttles to Miami International and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International airports can now be booked for a seamless connection from their respective downtown stations.
The company serves Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Orlando with future stops in Stuart and Cocoa. Amenities include WiFi chargers and outlets at every seat; and a selection of food, beverage and cocktails available for purchase or complimentary for premium passengers.
Julie Sharenow, vice president of sales, said, “Our partnership with AccesRail enables travel partners from across the globe to easily reserve seats with effortless efficiency on the standard network by simply using code 9B.”
AccesRail is a distribution company enabling partner railways to distribute their products (point to point or passes) on a shared cost basis via the GDS primary screen using the same booking and ticketing method as airlines.
