Breeze Airways, the low-cost carrier, announced it will serve five new cities, including Newark, New Jersey. There will be twice-weekly flights from Newark to Charleston, West Virginia, beginning Nov. 14. Those flights will continue to Orlando. The carrier will also begin flying in November to Daytona Beach, Florida; Erie, Pennsylvania; and South Bend, Indiana. Service from Wilmington, North Carolina, will begin in February.
The airline currently operates at three smaller airports in the New York area: Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York; Long Island MacArthur Airport in Islip, New York; and Stewart Airport in Orange County, New York.
From Daytona, Breeze will fly to Westchester County; Hartford, Connecticut; Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina; and Providence, Rhode Island. From Erie, Breeze will fly to Orlando. The carrier will serve Orlando and Fort Myers, Florida, from South Bend. It will connect Wilmington with Hartford, Orlando, Fort Myers and Providence.
With these additions, Breeze will serve 64 cities across 20 states.
