Alaska Airlines To Add Daily Portland (Ore.) – Atlanta Service on Oct. 1

Carrier will have 54 nonstop destinations from Portland with addition.

Alaska Airlines announced it would begin daily, year-round service from Portland, Oregon, to Atlanta on Oct. 1. With the addition, the carrier will serve 54 nonstop destinations from Portland.

Earlier this month, Alaska announced the addition of more than 20 daily departures from Portland. The airline’s capacity from the gateway has increased by 25%, improving connectivity and providing additional travel options.

According to the announcement, passengers can take advantage of premium options including: the most legroom in First Class (excluding lie-flat seats) and Premium Class; no change fees; multiple fare offerings; the Mileage Plan loyalty program; 30 global partners; and West Coast food and beverage on board.

The Atlanta flights will depart Portland at 9:37 a.m. and arrive in Atlanta at 5:12 p.m.; they will depart Atlanta at 7:59 p.m. and arrive in Portland at 10:14 p.m.

Power outlets are available at every seat on mainline aircraft, providing hundreds of free movies and TV shows that can be streamed to devices during the flight. Aircraft are also enabled with streaming-fast satellite WiFi available for purchase and the option to preorder from a range of fresh meal selections.
