AirJapan, the new low-cost airline from ANA Group, will begin five-times-weekly service on the Tokyo Narita-Singapore route on April 26. The flights will be on Boeing 787-8 aircraft with 324 economy seats.
AirJapan, according to the announcement, will contribute to the growth of exchanges between Japan and Singapore, as well as between Japan and Southeast Asia, by providing a “Japanese culture” experience and “high quality and comfort” at an affordable price. There will be three fare types: Simple, Standard (includes advance seat selection up to 1,500 yen and one checked bag) and Selected (includes advance seat selection up to 3,000 yen, two checked bags and inflight meals).
This will be AirJapan’s third destination. The carrier also announced that with the scheduled arrival of a second aircraft in April, flights on the Narita-Bangkok and Narita-Seoul routes, which started in February, will be increased to daily service.
