Air France Adds Capacity and Services to Long-Haul Network

Routes include resumed and new flights to Minneapolis, Phoenix and Raleigh-Durham.

Air France announced an expansion of its route network this summer that will see long-haul capacity up 9% against 2023. It also announced the ongoing rollout of new long-haul cabins. Among the additions are:

  • Resuming flights to Minneapolis with one daily flight.
  • Inaugurating a new direct service between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Phoenix, three times a week aboard a Boeing 787-9.
  • Extending the direct service to Raleigh-Durham that was inaugurated this past winter, and increasing the number of weekly flights to seven from three.

Alongside growing its North American network, the airline’s major plans for summer 2024 include:

  • Extending the daily Abu Dhabi service from Paris-Charles de Gaulle it introduced in winter 2023 through the summer of 2024.
  • More flights to Japan, including two daily flights between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Tokyo-Haneda, plus service to Tokyo-Narita with four flights a week.

  • Air France’s ongoing refurbishment of its 777-300ERs and Airbus A350-900s with the latest long-haul cabins will continue throughout the summer. This new product, available in Business, Premium Economy and Economy models, according to the announcement, “forms the cornerstone of the airline’s new travel experience
