Air Charter Service in Australia Reports 61% Growth in Brisbane Office

Air Charter Service (ACS), a global aircraft charter broker, reported that sales at its Brisbane, Australia, office were up 61% in the past year. Overall, the office reported growth in terms of charter numbers, revenues and the size of the staff.

Paul Crook, managing director of ACS Australia, based in Sydney, said the management team in Brisbane “is experiencing huge success at the moment, with an impressive increase in sales, up 61% year on year.” He said the company opened the office less than three years ago, “so for them to produce the sort of numbers that they are at the moment is incredible.” In addition, he said, “we opened the office during a tough time for the industry, nearing the end of the Covid pandemic, but these results prove that it was the right decision.”

Melissa Rogers, charter director of the Brisbane operation, added that the charter numbers have more than doubled year on year, and the office surpassed last year’s total in July. In fact, said Rogers, “this year we have had to almost double the size of our team to cope with the demand that we’re seeing.”

According to the company, ACS arranges over 28,000 charter flights annually, with revenue of more than $1 billion for the past four years. ACS was formed in 1990 and now has more than 650 staff worldwide.
