Aeroemexico To Start Phoenix-Mexico City Flights on March 30

Aeromexico will begin a new daily flight from Phoenix to Mexico City on March 30 as part of the airline’s joint cooperation agreement with Delta Air Lines. The route will provide more than 2,300 rooundtrip seats per week.

Flights will depart Mexico City at 9:55 a.m. daily and arrive in Phoenix at 12:25 p.m.; they will depart Phoenix at 1:51 p.m. and arrive in Mexico City at 6 p.m.

Jeff Morgan, Aeromexico’s senior vice president of network planning and scheduling, said the alliance solidifies Aeromexico and Delta as the airlines with the best connectivity between the US and Mexico. By the end of 2024, he said, the carriers will jointly operate 80 routes with more than 135 daily flights between both regions.

Aeromexico will fly the route with Boeing 737 MAX aircraft; according to the announcement, it offers more legroom, overhead compartments with 50% more capacity and high-speed Wi-Fi service.

The Aeromexico-Delta alliance has launched over 28 new routes this year, connecting key cities in Mexico and the US, providing a standardized service that ensures a consistent customer experience.
